I have used http://wetpaint.com with L2 Foundations students successfully. Although functionality is restricted, and I have concerns with the push-advertising in my cultural context, this wiki software is very intuitive, almost like a text editor, and after initial scaffolding, my students had no problems using it.

I would not suggest using software where students had to learn yet another language, but with the right motivation, students adjust and thrive in a wiki environment!

I also that course management software (Moodle) and wiki software are used for different types of applications, and therefore are not altogether comparable,

Kate.

PS. I enjoy reading your blog!

KateKatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04922310175451798960noreply@blogger.com
